I first came across the UCL/Yale exchange scheme in November 2020, two months after I started my MPhil/PhD programme at the Institute of Education. Much to my surprise, Prof E Anderson of the Sociology Department at Yale liked my research proposal and he invited me to take part in the annual urban ethnography workshop in the fall semester of 2021.

Pak is based in London, UK, currently starting his second year in the MPhil/PhD under the supervision of Prof G Welch at the Institute of Education, University College London.
